How long have you read the Tarot for, and what inspired you to start?

I have been reading the Tarot for 15 years, a large number of my family are seers of one form or another. My Grandmother was a natural born medium and also used a crystal ball my mother’s sister is the same as are 3 cousins.

My mother and sister are Tarot readers as well my sister is a past life therapist. I dabbled with the classic Rider-Waite Tarot deck but I preferred using working with the Ogham Runes for paying clients. Then round about 2004 I was given the Wildwood Tarot deck created by 3 arch Druids which was perfect for me.

What is your preferred Tarot spread and why?

I use the Great Oak spread which is built on the 9 card Awen spread ...The Oak is scared to the Druids as it spans the 3 worlds of Celtic Mysticism also it can represents the past present and future ....When the client sits down for a reading the roots are all that has happened to that point the trunk the present (9 card Awen spread) this is in flux as the present is all other cards then off the 9 card is the branches and paths to the possible futures.

Which Tarot deck do you use?

I use the Druidcraft Tarot created by Stephanie and Philip Carr-Gomm, Scribe and Chief of the Order of Bards Ovates & Druids, together with art work by Will Worthington,

Are there any cards that bear particular significance to you?

No there are no cards that bear particular significance to me at the moment

What tools other than the Tarot can a client expect you to use during a reading?

As well as the Druidcraft Tarot I use a blend of the Celtic Animal Oracle cards (by the same creators as the Druidcraft tarot) as well as the Celtic Ancestor Oracle cards created by Caitlin Matthews & Wil Kinghan.
Apart from the cards if the client prefers I can also give readings with the Ogham Runes (Ogham runes sometimes called the "Celtic Tree Alphabet" are symbols and work much like the more well-known Nordic runes methods.)

I can also do Celtic Zodiac charts they work very much as the "Classic Zodiac" but instead of using star signs it uses the Ogham but works the same...

There are 14 different Celtic Zodiac names which are

Birch
Rowan
Ash
Alder
Willow
Hawthorn
Oak
Holly
Hazel
Vine
Ivy
Broom
Elder
Pine/fir

Depending on what the person’s date of birth is depends on which one they are.

Have you ever given a reading that stands out in your memory for some reason?

I was giving a reading for a lady, just a general reading was request so I just go with what flow via the clients guides. The cards showed matters around a partner and money management. The client said that she did not have a partner and was a single mother who did not work or have a business but the cards kept going back to this then the client said it sound much like her sister.

Many months later the client returned for another reading she told me that the she had told her sister about the last reading and to cut a long story short her now ex-partner had been skimming of money from their business ready to leave her and set up home with his mistress.
